Vulse is an ISO/IEC 27001 certified and GDPR compliant software provider. Access management controls who can publish on behalf of whom, customer information is handled securely, and documented incident-response processes sit behind the platform. Your team can run an employee advocacy programme without creating a compliance problem.

How Vulse employee advocacy works
Connect and onboard your team. Bring employees into a structured programme and give them clear guidance from the beginning, so nobody is left guessing what they are supposed to post or why it matters.
Create content in each person's voice. Tone-of-voice matching produces relevant content without turning employees into copies of the brand account. People review, edit and publish as themselves.
Plan and publish consistently. Schedule content, coordinate campaigns and make it easier for employees to stay active in the weeks when client work takes over.
Measure and improve. Use LinkedIn analytics, team reporting and leaderboards to understand what is working, then feed that back into next month's content.
Book a demo and we will walk through the workflow with your own team in mind.

How Vulse compares to other employee advocacy platforms
Most comparison pages are written to make one product win. This one is written to help you choose, including where that means choosing something else.
Eight platforms are covered below, each on the same seven points: who it suits, the networks it supports, the published starting price, the pricing model, analytics depth and whether it uses official platform API access. Where a vendor does not publish a price, this page says so rather than estimating one.

When Vulse is not the right choice
Vulse only does LinkedIn. That is a deliberate trade-off, and it makes Vulse the wrong tool for some teams.
If you need multi-network distribution across X, Facebook and Instagram, look at DSMN8, Sociabble or EveryoneSocial. If your organisation already runs Hootsuite or Sprout Social, their Amplify and Employee Advocacy modules will be cheaper and simpler than adding a specialist.
If you need deep CRM attribution tied to pipeline, choose Oktopost. Tying social activity to campaigns and pushing it into the CRM is what Oktopost is built for, and Vulse does not attempt to replace it.
If advocacy sits inside internal communications and employee experience, Sociabble frames the problem the way you do.
If you are rolling out globally to tens of thousands of people with a dedicated advocacy owner, implementation support and quarterly business reviews, EveryoneSocial is built for that scale.
Vulse is the right choice when LinkedIn is where your pipeline starts, when you want to measure what each person is actually achieving, and when you would rather see a price than request a quote.
Three of these comparisons are covered in more detail: Vulse vs DSMN8, Vulse vs Oktopost and Vulse vs EveryoneSocial.
Built around LinkedIn, not adapted to it
Many employee advocacy tools are designed primarily to distribute the same approved content across multiple social networks. Vulse is built around how individuals create, publish and perform on LinkedIn.
Vulse holds approved LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform access, including profile-level analytics permissions, so it reports individual and team performance using data supplied directly by LinkedIn rather than scraped from the page or estimated.
That distinction matters commercially. Tools built on unofficial access carry platform risk. Shield Analytics was the default profile-level LinkedIn analytics product from 2018 onwards and has wound down; its own notice states that LinkedIn and Google made clear it could not continue operating as it was built. Teams that relied on it lost their reporting and their historical data. Vulse's access is granted and maintained by LinkedIn.
Seven differentiators, all of which you can check:
LinkedIn-first product experience. The product is designed for one network rather than adapted to it.
Approved LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform access. Including the permissions needed for member social data and profile analytics.
Profile-level and team-level insights. Reporting for the individual as well as the programme.
Tone-matched employee content. Brand guidance without a uniform voice.
Scheduling and participation tools. Planning, approvals and prompts that keep people posting.
Strategic onboarding and support. A named human contact, with onboarding and training included in every plan.
ISO/IEC 27001 certified. With GDPR compliant data handling.
One platform for every team building influence on LinkedIn
Marketing teams extend brand reach through credible employee voices instead of relying on the company page alone.
Sales teams build visibility, trust and warmer professional relationships before the first conversation.
Recruitment and employer-brand teams show candidates the people and the culture behind the organisation.
Leaders and subject-matter experts turn expertise into consistent thought leadership rather than occasional posts.
Prove the impact of employee advocacy
Employee advocacy should produce more than activity. Vulse helps teams understand participation, content performance and the results generated by employee-led LinkedIn content.
The measures Vulse reports are: active participants, posts published, posting frequency, impressions, engagement, individual and team performance, and leaderboard activity. Nothing here is modelled or inferred; it comes from LinkedIn.

Employee advocacy platform pricing
Vulse publishes its prices. Most platforms in this category do not, which is why so much of the table above reads Not published.
$18 per user per month for 1 to 10 seats
$14 per user per month for 11 to 49 seats
$10 per user per month for 50 to 99 seats
$6 per user per month for 100 or more seats
Billed annually. Monthly billing is available at $24, $19, $13 and $8 per user per month across the same four bands. There are no seat minimums, no platform fees and no workspace fees, and the full platform is included on every plan. Onboarding and training are included as well.
Full detail is on the Vulse pricing page.
The research behind this page
Three pieces of Vulse research sit behind this page.
The employee advocacy strategy guide covers how to design a programme before you buy a tool for it.
The employee advocacy ROI framework sets out what to measure and how to present it internally.
The Vulse LinkedIn benchmark analysed roughly 700 million LinkedIn impressions across 263,900 posts on the Vulse platform in the 12 months to August 2026. Accounts posting at least three times a week grew their impressions by 32%, while less frequent accounts did not.
There is also a breakdown of employee advocacy software pricing models if you are comparing how vendors charge rather than what they charge.
Employee advocacy platform FAQs
What is an employee advocacy platform? An employee advocacy platform gives employees an easier way to create and share content about their organisation on their own social profiles, and gives the organisation a way to guide and measure it. In practice that means content creation, brand guidance, scheduling, approvals and reporting in one place, instead of a marketing team emailing suggested posts and hoping people use them.
How does employee advocacy software work? Employees are invited into a programme with agreed themes and guidance. The software helps each person draft content, keeps it consistent with brand guidance, and lets them schedule and publish it from their own profile. Reporting then shows who is taking part, how often they post and what that content achieved, so the programme can be improved rather than guessed at.
Is Vulse built specifically for LinkedIn? Yes. Vulse supports LinkedIn only. That is a deliberate trade-off: it means deeper per-person measurement and a product shaped around how people actually post on LinkedIn, and it means Vulse is the wrong tool if you need to distribute the same content across X, Facebook and Instagram.
Can employees keep their own tone of voice? Yes. Vulse uses tone-of-voice matching so content follows brand guidance while still reading like the person publishing it. Employees review and edit everything before it goes out, so nobody is publishing something they would not have written.
What employee advocacy analytics does Vulse provide? Active participants, posts published, posting frequency, impressions, engagement, individual and team performance, and leaderboard activity. Vulse holds approved LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform access, including profile-level analytics permissions, so those figures come from LinkedIn rather than from scraping or estimation.
Who should use an employee advocacy platform? Marketing teams wanting reach beyond the company page, sales teams building visibility before the first conversation, recruitment and employer-brand teams showing candidates the people behind the organisation, and leaders or subject-matter experts who want to publish consistently rather than occasionally.
How is Vulse different from a social media management tool? A social media management tool is built to publish and schedule for brand accounts across many networks. Vulse is built to get a group of individuals posting from their own LinkedIn profiles and to measure what each of them achieved. If you already run Hootsuite or Sprout Social and simply want employees to share approved posts, their advocacy add-ons may suit you better.
Is Vulse suitable for enterprise teams? Yes. Vulse is ISO/IEC 27001 certified with GDPR compliant data handling, access management and documented incident-response processes, and pricing bands run to 100 or more seats with no seat minimum. For rollouts across tens of thousands of users with a dedicated advocacy owner and quarterly business reviews, EveryoneSocial is built for that scale.
How long does it take to launch an employee advocacy programme? Setup is self-serve and onboarding and training are included in every plan, so a team can connect accounts and start posting without an implementation project. The longer part is not the software: agreeing themes, guidance and who is taking part is what determines whether a programme lasts.
How much does Vulse cost? From $6 per user per month. Billed annually, the bands are $18 per user per month for 1 to 10 seats, $14 for 11 to 49, $10 for 50 to 99, and $6 for 100 or more. Monthly billing is $24, $19, $13 and $8. There are no seat minimums, no platform fees and no workspace fees, and the full platform is included on every plan. Full detail is at the pricing page.
Which employee advocacy platform is best for multi-network distribution? Not Vulse. If you need employees posting across X, Facebook and Instagram as well as LinkedIn, look at DSMN8, Sociabble or EveryoneSocial. If your organisation already runs Hootsuite or Sprout Social, Hootsuite Amplify and Sprout Social Employee Advocacy will be cheaper and simpler than adding a specialist tool.
